Terms & privacy

Short version: Just RSVP is a free way to send an invite and collect replies. There are no accounts, we don't sell anything, and everything is deleted a week after the event.

Using Just RSVP

You may use Just RSVP to invite people you know to real events. Don't use it for spam, harassment, scams, ticket sales, illegal gatherings, or anything you don't have permission to share — including other people's names, photos or addresses.

The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability. We may remove an invite that breaks these terms.

Your links are your keys

There are no passwords. Anyone with the invite link can see the invite and reply. Anyone with your private host link can see every reply and edit the event, so only share the host link with people you trust.

What we store

Event details you type (name, date, place, description, settings) and what guests type (name, optional email, yes/no/maybe, party size, guest names, dietary notes, allergies, answers and notes).

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell or share data, and we don't keep a record of who viewed an invite. A short-lived, scrambled counter is kept to stop bots from flooding the site.

Deleted after seven days

Every invite and all of its replies are deleted automatically one week after the event ends. Hosts can delete an event sooner from their host page, and any guest can remove their own reply from the invite page at any time.

Addresses

Hosts can choose to hide the exact address until a guest replies yes. Guests should treat an address on an invite as private and not forward it.

Reporting an invite

Every invite page has a “Report this invite” link. Reports are reviewed and invites that break these terms are removed.

Contact

Questions about these terms or a request to remove something: reply to whoever sent you the invite, or use the report link on the invite page.
